Alfred Grosser, die op de bres springt voor de Europese Commissie en die blijkbaar weinig op heeft met democratie (link). Het probleem met dit model is dat de afwezigheid van verkiezingen en openbaarheid, gecombineerd met de macht om ideeën om te zetten in beleid, wet- en regelgeving, er ook toe leidt dat het minder noodzakelijk is om die prachtige toekomstvisies aan de man te brengen. Dan moet je niet vreemd opkijken als op een gegeven moment blijkt dat al die prachtige toekomstvisies minder gedeeld worden dan gehoopt.
